Payment Breakdown

So long as you have an Outstanding Balance, you will have to make Minimum Payments. Each Minimum Payment consists of:

Refer to your Line of Credit Agreement, or any amendments, for more details.

How is your Minimum Payment calculated?

Mandatory Principal Contribution

Each Minimum Payment includes a contribution towards your principal balance to ensure you are always paying down your Line of Credit. The Mandatory Principal Contribution will vary depending on your income frequency. Refer to your Line of Credit Agreement, or any amendments, for more information.

Billing Cycle Charges

Billing Cycle Charges are calculated based on your Average Daily Principal Balance for each Billing Cycle. The Average Daily Principal Balance is determined by adding the daily principal balance for each day in the billing cycle and dividing that sum by the total number of days in that billing cycle. Please refer to the Billing Cycle Charge tables below.

Cost of Credit Example

To demonstrate what is included in each Minimum Payment, let’s look at the following examples for monthly and non-monthly income frequencies. We assume in these examples that there is a $1,025 draw at the start of the first billing cycle with only Minimum Payments made and no additional draws requested.

Monthly Income Frequency (each Minimum Payment is about 30 days apart):

Billing Cycle Example Average Daily Principal Balance Mandatory Principal Contribution (A) Billing Cycle Charge (B) Minimum Payment Due (A+B) Remaining Principal Balance
1 $1,025.00 $20.50 $180.00 $200.50 $1,004.50

3 $984.41 $20.00 $165.00 $185.00 $964.41

Non-Monthly Income Frequency (each Minimum Payment is about 14 days apart):

Billing Cycle Example Average Daily Principal Balance Mandatory Principal Contribution (A) Billing Cycle Charge (B) Minimum Payment Due (A+B) Remaining Principal Balance
1 $1,025.00 $10.25 $85.00 $95.25 $1,014.75

What is a personal line of credit?

A personal line of credit is an open-end credit product that allows you to make draws, repay and redraw from your available credit. If approved, you can have access to funds from CC Flow up to a specific credit limit. The benefit of a line of credit is that so long as you make your payments on time, more credit will be available for you to draw.

How is a personal line of credit different from an installment loan?

A personal loan, which includes installment loans, is a lump sum of money that is required to be paid back, usually with interest and/or fees. Installment loans are repaid over a period of time through a number of scheduled payments. A personal Line of Credit through MoneyKey gives a borrower access to funds from CC Flow up to a maximum amount (or credit limit). Charges only accrue on credit withdrawn, not on the total credit limit. With a CC Flow Line of Credit, if there is an Outstanding Balance, a borrower will be required to make Minimum Payments. Depending on the borrower’s repayment activity, the borrower can make draws, repay and redraw as needed, so long as there is available credit and their account is in good standing.

How do I know if my request for a Line of Credit has been approved?

If your request for an online personal Line of Credit is approved, you will receive an email notifying you of your approval.
